Welcome to GETTA (“Getta”, “we”, “our”, or “us”). These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of the GETTA mobile application, website, and related services.
By accessing or using GETTA, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

About Getta

GETTA is a ride-booking platform that connects Customers, Drivers, and Small & Medium Business (SMB) transportation providers through a mobile and web-based system.
GETTA facilitates transportation services but does not directly provide transportation services unless expressly stated.

Eligibility

To use GETTA, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age.
  • Have legal capacity to enter into binding agreements.
  • Provide accurate and complete registration information.
  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that provide false information.

Account Registration

Users may register using:
  • Email and OTP verification
  • Phone Number and OTP verification
  • Google Sign-In
  • Apple Sign-In
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities conducted through your account.

Customer Responsibilities

Customers agree to:
  • Provide accurate pickup and destination information.
  • Behave respectfully toward drivers.
  • Pay all applicable ride charges.
  • Avoid illegal or unsafe activities during rides.
  • Refrain from damaging vehicles or property.
GETTA reserves the right to suspend users engaging in abusive, fraudulent, or unlawful behavior.

Driver Responsibilities

Drivers agree to:
  • Maintain valid licenses and permits.
  • Provide accurate profile and vehicle information.
  • Operate vehicles safely and lawfully.
  • Treat customers professionally and respectfully.
  • Maintain required insurance coverage where applicable.
Drivers are solely responsible for complying with transportation laws in their operating region.

Smb (Business) Responsibilities

Transportation businesses using GETTA must:
  • Maintain valid business licenses.
  • Provide accurate business information.
  • Ensure all affiliated drivers are legally authorized to operate.
  • Comply with local transportation regulations.
  • Manage driver payments and business operations responsibly.
GETTA may request verification documents at any time.

Ride Bookings

Through GETTA, users may:
  • Request immediate rides.
  • Schedule rides in advance.
  • View estimated fare information.
  • Track rides in real time.
  • Communicate with drivers through in-app features.
Ride requests are subject to driver availability.
GETTA does not guarantee ride acceptance.

Fares and Payments

Ride fares may include:
  • Distance charges
  • Time-based charges
  • Service fees
  • Taxes (where applicable)
Payment methods may include:
  • Credit Cards
  • Debit Cards
  • Other supported payment methods
By completing a booking, you authorize GETTA and its payment providers to charge the applicable amount.

Split Fare Feature

GETTA may allow customers to share ride costs with other eligible users.
Each participant remains responsible for their assigned portion of the fare.
Failure by another participant to pay does not relieve remaining participants of payment obligations.

Cancellations

Customers and Drivers may cancel rides according to platform policies.
Cancellation fees may apply where permitted by law.
Repeated misuse of cancellations may result in account restrictions.

Ratings and Feedback

Customers and Drivers may submit ratings and feedback after completed rides.
GETTA reserves the right to remove reviews that:
  • Are fraudulent
  • Are offensive
  • Violate applicable laws
  • Contains misleading information

User Content

Users may submit:
  • Profile information
  • Reviews
  • Messages
  • Support requests
You grant GETTA a non-exclusive license to use such content for operating and improving the Platform.

Communications

By creating an account, you consent to receive:
  • OTP messages
  • Ride notifications
  • Service announcements
  • Support communications
Marketing communications may be disabled through account settings, where available.

Account Suspension and Termination

GETTA may suspend or terminate accounts for:
  • Fraudulent activity
  • Violations of these Terms
  • Harassment or abuse
  • Illegal activities
  • Safety concerns
Termination may occur without prior notice when necessary to protect users or the Platform.

Intellectual Property

All trademarks, logos, designs, software, and content associated with GETTA are owned by GETTA or its licensors.
Users may not:
  • Copy
  • Modify
  • Distribute
  • Reverse engineer
  • Reproduce
any Platform materials without written permission.

Disclaimers

GETTA provides the Platform on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis.
We do not guarantee:
  • Continuous availability
  • Error-free operation
  • Driver availability
  • Ride acceptance
Transportation services are provided by independent drivers and transportation providers.

Limitation Of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GETTA shall not be liable for:
  • Indirect damages
  • Lost profits
  • Business interruption
  • Personal disputes between users
  • Acts or omissions of independent drivers
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid through the Platform during the previous six months.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless GETTA, its affiliates, officers, employees, and partners from claims arising from:
  • Your use of the Platform
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of applicable laws

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted under the laws of the United States and the applicable state jurisdiction where GETTA operates.

Changes To Terms

GETTA may update these Terms at any time.
Updated versions will be posted on the Platform.
Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
